In this Privacy Policy, references to "you" means any person submitting any data or information to TRUDO INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED ( Hereinafter for the sake of brevity referred to as 'Trudo', Trudo.in ). The term "Platform" used in this document refers to the website (being www.trudo.in), mobile apps and / or any other services offered / to be offered by Trudo.

Visibility of public creative contributions
  1. In addition to being a need fulfillment Platform, Trudo also provides a variety of Forums (as defined in 'Terms of Use') for its members to express. Since this expression is linked to the member's identity and the expression is in the public domain, the compilation of a member's creative contributions to Trudo will be visible to all visitors of Trudo, whether or not they are registered members of Trudo.
Sharing of information with third parties
  1. Trudo takes your privacy very seriously. However, there may be times when we need to disclose your personal information to third parties.
  2. Trudo reserves the right to share recordings of all phone calls made between: [a] any user and Trudo; [b] any service provider and Trudo; [c] any user and service provider of Trudo through UVN, to legal, accounting or other advisors that provide professional services and / or who assists us in training, quality monitoring and quality enhancement of our services to the user and / or service providers. You hereby grant your irrevocable consent to Trudo to share such call recordings to third parties for such purposes. If such a transaction occurs, that other business entity or the new entity formed as a result of such transaction will be required to follow this Privacy Policy with respect to your personal information. You have no objection and are deemed to have waived all objections in relation to the same for the fullest enjoyment of the services.

Partnering with others
  1. Trudo may partner with other online services to offer a combined service. Whenever we offer such combined services, Trudo will make it clear who the partner is and it will be entirely up to you to use or not to use the service. Advertising and spamming
  1. • Commercial messages or promotional messages from businesses or Organisations are not permitted on the network. Trudo provides a Platform for its members to express themselves in the form of articles, columns, opinions, comments, reviews, art and photos but the website must not be used as a medium for marketing or selling to our members.
  2. • No advertising or promotion is allowed except where it is for an event, publication or similar item that has direct relevance to the subject of discussion and is non-commercial in nature. Information about locating and sharing knowledge and expertise is welcomed, but must have relevance to the topic on which an opinion is expressed or a discussion is initiated.
  3. • Do not post chain letters, promote pyramid schemes or recruit members for any network marketing or multilevel marketing businesses.
  4. • Do not recruit members to join another website forum or chat group, whether personal or otherwise. if you have a suggestion for a new forum, please contact us or send your queries to member relations.
  5. • Shall not be defamatory, trade libelous, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing. Further shall not be fraudulent, misrepresenting, misleading or pertain to the sale of any illegal, counterfeit, stolen goods and or services which do not belong to you or you do not have the authority for.   8. • Trudo encourages healthy discussion on the topics that members contribute to in forums and where relevant, members are allowed to post links to their content. However, overt promotion of, or inappropriate links to other known commercial websites on any forum are not permitted and will be removed. If you are unsure whether a link or a posting is allowed, please send your queries to member relations. The definition of an appropriate link is one that is relevant to both the posting and the forum topic. A commercial site is considered as one which promotes a product or service for a price or for other consideration that suggests it is a for-profit business.

Prohibited Items Policy

We specifically prohibit any listing or posting of classifieds or information in relation to the following items:
  1. • Alcoholic Beverages, Liquor, tobacco products, drugs, psychotropic substances, narcotics, intoxicants of any description, medicines, palliative/curative substances nor shall you provide link directly or indirectly to or include descriptions of items, goods or services that are prohibited under any applicable law for the time being in force including but not limited to the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, the Drugs And Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954 Narcotic Drug and Prohibited Substances Act and the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
  2. • Living, dead person and/or the whole or any part of any human which has been kept or preserved by any means whether artificial or natural including any blood, bodily fluids and/ or body parts
  3. • Prostitution or any other service in the nature there of that purports to violate the provisions of Immoral Act or Indecent representation of women which violates the contemporary standards of morality and decency in Indian society.
  4. • Religious items, including books, artifacts, etc. or any information, description of any such item that is likely to affect the religious sentiments of any person or group
  5. • Mature Audiences Policy includes films which do not have a certificate for public exhibition issued by the Central Board of Film Certification and or described and depict or otherwise deal with matters which are revolting or repulsive and or tend to deprave a persons mind in such a way that they tend to offend against the standards of morality, decency and propriety generally accepted by reasonable adults
  6. • Obscene Items includes items which contain an indecent representation of women within the meaning of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986; Any publication or film or item that describes or depicts a minor who is, or who appears to be, under 18 (whether the minor is engaged in sexual activity or not) and any computer games not suitable for minor that are unsuitable for a minor to see or play.
  7. • Offensive Material intended for use in a sexual setting (including "bondage" and "fetish" items,) displaying sexual activity or portraying human genitalia in a "life-like" or realistic fashion
  8. • "Antiquities" and "Art Treasures" in violation of the provisions of the Antiquities and Art Treasures Act, 1972 ("the Act")
  9. • Information or items that are defamatory, libelous, threatening or abusive in nature
  10. • Information that is fraudulent, misrepresenting as to the nature and use of the goods or the services.
  11. • Counterfeit, Pirated and stolen goods or unauthorized illegal services (services for which you are not licensed or permitted to do or do not have the authority to under take).
  12. • Items, goods and services that infringe or attempt to pass off any third parties intellectual property or rights of publicity or moral rights and or purport's to breach any persons right to privacy.
  13. • Electronically transmitting through any medium computer viruses of any type or any computer program that facilitates hacking of a computer system which the intent to damage a computer or computer network or intercept any personal data.
  14. • Your information shall not include any hate content, that is derogatory or slanderous in nature that may directed to any individual or group or advocate violence against any users individuals and or animals.
  15. • Hazardous chemicals and pesticides and/ or items in violation of Hazardous Chemicals Act, 1985.
  16. • Fireworks, Destructive Devices and Explosives including any material that enables the making of fireworks, explosive triggers and explosive devices.
  17. • Identity Documents, Personal Financial Records & Personal Information (in any form, including mailing lists)
  18. • Lottery Tickets, Sweepstakes Entries and Slot Machines
  19. • Items in violation of the Food Adulteration Act, 1954
  20. • Military or Police Badges, Uniforms, coats-of-arms and or any Government emblems, insignia, and/ or items in violation of Emblems and names (Prevention of improper use) Act, 1950 and/ or Flag Codes of India Act, 2002
  21. • Weapons and related items (such as firearms, firearm parts and magazines, ammunition, tear gas, stun guns, switchblade knives or any other item which is prohibited under the Indian Arms Act, 1959.
  22. • "Pyramid schemes" and "Multilevel Marketing" and/ or similar scams which are solely listed for the purpose of defrauding users.
  23. • Spam, abusive, duplicate, listing, fraud schemes (e.g. "Get rich quick" "work at homes" scams which are solely listed for the purpose of duping users)
  24. • Inappropriate, Wrong Category (e.g dining table listed as office furniture).
  25. • Incorrect City / Location of Listing (listing allowed only in the city you are based in, of listing)

Copyrighted material
  1. Uploading copies of copyrighted material as a whole or in part on Trudo without explicit permission from the copyright owner shall be deemed to infringe on the copyright and this applies to materials such as text, images, music, movies, games, and other software in digital and analog format. Trudo reserves the right to immediately delete such material without prior permission / consultation from the member. If you suspect that an image submitted to Trudo is copyright protected and has been used fraudulently, please contact us immediately or send us an email to member relations.
Safety guidelines

The Platform is always reaching out to a wider audience by showcasing the best of our member contributions. However, in doing so, we will not allow to be uploaded anything on the site that we think could be potentially endangering or is inflammatory or embarrassing to our members. It also helps members to be aware of certain things in the interest of their safety.

  1. • All members are responsible for the safety of their personal information. We recommend that members do not disclose their names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers or other personal information online.
  2. • All members need to be aware that when they upload their photos on the Platform, the photos are not only visible to the entire internet community but can also be downloaded, since any image that can be displayed on a computer screen can be saved by the person viewing it. It is technically not possible to prevent this and hence Sulekha cannot be held liable in such cases. If you are worried about someone else viewing or saving your images then please do not submit them.

  2. • Trudo does not endorse the opinions expressed by its members.
  3. • If any member fails to observe the above rules of conduct at any time, Trudo reserves the right to terminate the membership of the member and / or delete all their contributions (either temporarily or permanently) from the site, depending on the nature and severity of the breach and without prior warning or consent of the member.
  4. • Registration as a member of this Platform at any time past or present and use of the Platform and all its product / service offerings will be taken as acceptance of the above rules of conduct. Trudo's decision on all matters is final and binding on its members. Legal jurisdiction for all disputes is the Court of Aligarh, India.
